Maybe if they spelled omelette like this "omlett" instead of "omlette" we wouldn't have to worry about holiday pis. And no your eyes are not deceiving you, it's this way on both sides of the sign!

As you can see the road is not a through street.. Perhaps a different sign would have been more appropriate for the situation.
